No more redistribution of wealth! We must revise our tax system so those that achieve success are not punished.
Pass the Fair Tax and dissolve the IRS.
Go to a Zero-Based Budget. The current Baseline Budget System automatically increases budgets every year whether we should or not.
Remove or drastically reduce capital gains tax rates and abolish the death tax permanently.
The federal budget should be no more than 18% of Gross Domestic Product, the only exceptions are actual national emergencies, such as war. Aid to states must be repaid.
The federal government will get out of the land business. Return land to states, with the exception of military bases, federal buildings and all others having to do with our national defense. More than 65 % of our state is currently under the control of the federal government.
- Fair trade with foreign countries
- Reciprocal taxes on imports that we receive on exports
- Ban imports of products that infringe on U.S.copy right laws.

It’s a pleasure to find your site, Van! Trade is my main issue. I feel that it is unfair to American workers for the US to allow products into our market without tariffs or restrictions if they were made in countries that have dramatically lower environmental and labor standards than we do. The unfairness of granting free access to our markets to companies based in countries that do not grant free access to their markets is obvious. Sometimes, I wonder whose side our government is on.

Hello John; our trade policy isn’t good for any of us as it stands and needs to be changed dramatically, however I can assure you as long as we continue to send the same group of people back to DC it won’t happen as all of them are in the pockets of the lobbyists. I have a plan and will be releasing it in the next few weeks that will expose the real reason we don’t have free trade and never will unless we change Congress and the White House with True Conservative Americans no matter what party they belong to. I agree with almost everything I see here; and that’s a small thing; but as I told Sen Pearce, over a year ago, when discussing the birthrigh citizenship issue with him, I can see allowing the child of parents who are on the path to citizenship, and are here legally to reside, citizenship from birth, but NO other exception to having at least one parent as a citizen. I read the comments presented to Congress at the time the 14th Amendment was being presented for vote, by the author of that bill, and he never intended it to apply after the last child born to slave parents who’d been brought here against their wills. That should have “died” a “natural death” before the end of the 19th century. It was narrowly aimed at insuring those children weren’t denied their citizenship rights ONLY! But I’ve also known many immigrants to the US in my life, and generally they make among the best citizens, when they come in legally. They know the value of our citizenship better than many multigenerational Americans do. And AZ needs a strong voice in DC on this issue, especially in the Senate.
