Our Foreign Policy needs to be based on what is best of theUnited States of Americanot the United Nations, SEATO, NATO or NAFTA, which is the policy we’ve been following for some time now.
We need to put our real friends and allies first and foremost, such asIsrael,England,Australia,Japan,South Korea, etc. Then let others see just what’s it’s like to be a friend rather than a foe of theU.S.
We need to begin this by bringing our troops home from around the world, where we do nothing but have a presence so others don’t have to have one of their own, such as Germany,Japan and others, at our expense. We are not and should not be the policeman of the world, which most of the time doesn’t gain any friends and also adds to our debt. This reduces our ability to defend our own borders.
Foreign aid is something that needs to be given to true friends and allies – not to support the Industrial Military Manufacturing Complex we’ve built up over the years, which President Eisenhower warned us not to let happen. The monies we give to other countries in the form of aid goes to many of these companies, when they buy arms to enslave the very people we’re trying to help.
We need to change these policies so that our foreign aid actually helps the people, by improving the economy, which helps the people to be free not a serfs/slaves to the government.
