Immigration

Our government will lock down the borders – North, South, East and West – and keep them that way with our Border Patrol and with the aid of the National Guard and Military Troops, as required. We will set up a policy of issuing worker permits to those who apply and have not committed a crime once they’ve left the country and applied in their home country as determined by who’s next in line.  We need to set up a system from beginning to end that does this  with the same type of technology in the private sector and all verification is the responsibility of that Agency or Private Contracted Co. and not the employer.  This will insure all those given a worker or visitor visa are qualified and this to might be better done in the private sector, with loss of contract if not performed to the standards set.

I will never vote for or support any form of amnesty for anyone who either entered this country illegally or over-stayed a visa as long as I serve the people of the United States of America and this includes Comprehensive Immigration Reform or a Dream Act Policy now in place and supported by both the Dems and GOP, but not me.

Our government will lock down  all our borders and keep them that way with Border Patrol and the aid of National Guard and Military Troops, as required. We’ll also use our technology along with real border walls/fences protecting our borders.

We will set up a policy of issuing worker permits to those who apply and have not committed a crime and are  outside the borders of the United States. Permits will be issued for a period of no less than three and no more than 12 months. The employee must return to their country of origin at the end of the permitted time, and may reapply only if the person hasn’t committed any crime.

All employers will be required to post a bond for each employee, pick them up at a point of entry, and then return them to the immigration department at the same point of entry. Only then will the bond be refunded to the employer. The employer must also provide proof of health and auto insurance for the duration of the the visa issued where applicable, paid for by the employer, before any permits will be issued.

The employer must also inform the immigration department if the employee is absent from work more than two days, not including weekends. At that point the permit is suspended and will only be reinstated when the absence is excused by a doctor’s note. The employer will automatically lose the fronted bond if absence is not reported within 48 hours.

If the holder of the permit is not employed, the temporary worker must be returned to their point of entry within 48 hours of losing their job, if the worker isn’t brought to the point of entry within 48 hrs. when found they will be immediately deported with no opportunity of being issued a permit for at least five years. The worker will also lose any personal property that they may have acquired during their time in theU.S., as a result of violating the law, this provides and incentive for obeying the law.

Any company employing illegals will be fined at least ten times the monies the employee earned and the company will be declared no longer eligible for any government contracts for next five years.

No medical aid will be given to those within our borders illegally other than in a life threatening situation and no benefits of any kind other than to sustain life until deported. All costs of medical aid will be withheld from future assistance given to home country or bill back employer or  insurance co. where possible.

All children born in theU.S.must have at least one parent who is a citizen, or they will not be considered a U.S. Citizen.

There will be no work visas issued by our government as long as our unemployment rate is above 5.5% in general, or more than 4% in any given field. Our main goal is to employ Americans FIRST. At present we are still issuing work visas even while we are above 8% unemployment as of August of 2012. This is a crime against the American worker and our society.

We’ll also begin a program of deporting all illegals beginning with those who have over-stayed visas, and issue a warning that we’ll be doing the same to all, and that if they begin to self-deport, they’ll be able to reapply for work permits, etc. after returning to their Home Country.   However, if we have to remove them, they’ll never be allowed to enter the United States of America again, nor will their descendants. This program will begin simultaneously with the building of a fences/walls and border security.

I believe our elected officials cannot be trusted to build a fence/wall, as it won’t be as easily moved as troops or border patrol officers. They have done it before, and believe they’d do it again. That is why we don’t get a fence protecting our borders – only walls along highways to protect us from noise.

I like what I read, so far. Now the tough question. An illegal couple has been in the US for 7 years, they have 2 children. They are caught by (anything) local police and ICE is informed. They will be deported BUT what is your stand on the children ( born in the US) ?

I firmly believe that since the parents were in the country illegally that the children aren’t citizens. This should also apply to the newest form of anchor babys by those who fly in to deliver just to be certain that the child has a US birth certificate so they can return at a later time if necessary.
I hope that more American Citizens begin to realize just how big this problem has become especially for those coming into the country from China to have their babys and then return home after getting the birth certificate. God Bless You; Van

    Dollars and Sense…

ICE reveals cost for deporting each illegal immigrant at $12,500. The U.S. spent $5 billion last year to deport a record 393,000 immigrants. Department of Homeland Security estimates that there are roughly 11 million illegal immigrants in the U.S. If you do the math, that would mean it would cost $137 billion to deport all illegal immigrants.

While I agree we need to stop the leaks along our borders and ports of entry, can we really afford to deport 11 million illegal immigrants?

Here, here and hear, hear! I agree 100%. For “no gringo day” on May 1 the iusptd jacks Muslims have decided to join the Mexican invaders in their march. Go for it I say. They will shoot themselves in the foot too. I have spoken to so many people about the invaders and everyone I, personally, have spoken to are fed up with them-regardless of party affiliation-believe it or not. I have been hearing many people call up talk radio shows and ask about a third party formation since there really is only one spineless big party these days (Republicrats). I am for that all the way. Let’s elect an American this time!!! …and let him/her have NADS!

    Van,

I thoroughly enjoyed meeting you last night at the LD13 event. Regarding illegals, you state, “All children born in the U.S. must have at least one parent who is a citizen, or they will not be considered a U.S. Citizen” (para. 10), I find this to be very interesting; Emmerich de Vattel wrote in The Laws of Nations or The Principles of Natural Law (1758) the following regarding citizenship, “The country of the fathers is therefore that of the children; and these become true citizens merely by their tacit consent” (Ch. 19 §212). Chapter 19 all discusses Inhabitants (§213), Naturalization (§214), Children of citizens born in a foreign country (§215), and others. Do you believe that Vattel’s description of citizenship comports with the that of the founding fathers or does Title 8 section 1401 of the U.S. Code express what was intended by the Founding Fathers?

I do not believe these stat’s, I have seen other polls shwinog just the oppositeAlso, once again .. you are discussing legal immigration with ILLEGAL immigration.Common ploy of those who support illegal immigration.Apparently the GOP is either not listening to the majority of Americans with regardsto illegal immigration or did not learn their lesson in 2008.Either way I cannot support Newt

PEW Research was founded by Joseph Pew, a csonervative Republican and son of the founder of Sun Oil Co. (Sunoco), who bequeathed part of his wealth to found PEW Research. I believe their poll and have seen others with similar results. Those who support enforcement-only are the loudest and most often make sensational comments that get quoted in the news media. The noise level isn’t reality. Reality is best measured through scientific polling by credible organizations such as PEW Research.
